Lovage - New York

We had a pleasant evening at this restaurant. Despite having an event, the staff still provided us with personalized and excellent service. The sliders were delicious!

I made reservations for my 35th birthday. I called the day before to confirm my reservation and location as I found two addresses online. on 9 september 2017 after mayhem inaugurated. the line was on the road, the bouncers were not helpful and unnecessary to say that we never went to the venue. we were told to stand on a separate line for the reservation only to then enter the longer line of people who did not start a reservation slowly. slow as in 1 to a time, every few minutes or so. Luckily, my party, including myself born new yorker and had a foolish proof (in contrast to lowage) back-up plan in a beautiful midtown lounge without cover, no mass, no wait and hip hop playing the whole night. we will be back to drink drinks and discuss lowages expected closure.

Cooler room, though in a hotel, but if there is a certain elevator for the club, why is it not a direct elevator, but it keeps on every guest etage between lobby and club, annoying. server michela was extremely helpful and always fast with a refill.

We enjoyed this place for little bites a quick drink in front of a Broadway show.

Mixup with our res, as a private party had bought out the place. They were very gracious, gave us a free drink, and set us up at restaurant downstairs. Mistakes happen. It's how they're handled that's the sign of a good spot. Didn't eat there, but had to fill in that rating anyway.
