Mofongo Del Valle Restaurant - New York

Absolutely delicious. rice soft and fluffy, beans nice and fresh as well as chicken. chicken sandwich nice and fresh, vegetables are fresh. nicely seasoned just perfect. 10/10

Mostly just white rice with the chicken lunch special- which is my fault for not getting the mofongo. Will try one more time with mofongo.

The food was good. The chicken was kind of over cooked but the dark meat was good. The rice was a bit dry which is shocking because it's usually better regardless of what else I buy. The cassava was so good but needed more vinegar. The sweet plantains were good but the green were over cooked as well.

They take forever and on top of that their mofongos are ridiculously dry, almost inedible, they have a lack of flavor . We ordered Shr Mofongoimp with garlic sauce and it didn't even come with that. Save your money.

Had a puddle of oil in the Fried Sweet Yellow Plantains container. how gross other than that the food is good.
