Mottsu Japanese - New York

I had a wonderful experience at Mottsu and I am surprised that it only has a 3.4 star rating on Yelp. The food was delicious, particularly the naruto rolls which I recommend with spicy mayo. The Inaka Chicken ramen was the best I have ever had, with perfectly seasoned chicken and a flavorful broth. The service was quick and efficient, with the waiter taking our order promptly. The ambiance was lovely, with old Chinese paintings, hanging plants, and an aquarium adding to the aesthetic. The music selection, featuring K-pop artists like Jungkook, TWICE, and Newjeans, was also enjoyable. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 5/5.

We stopped in after a long walk for a quick beer and a snack. The service was quick and friendly. It was early, so the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the decor made me feel welcome. The abundance of plants helped create a more natural ambiance.

I had high hopes for finding an affordable sushi restaurant near my office, but dining in Soho, NY always seems to require stretching your budget. Although this place offers great lunch specials and appetizers, the disappointment came from the lack of freshness in the food. I only ordered appetizers because I brought my own lunch to work and needed some side dishes. The white rice I ordered appeared stale and discolored, lacking the freshness I expected. The Kani salad, a dish known for using fresh ingredients, also fell short with stale components and a lack of flavorful toppings. Freshness is a crucial factor in any restaurant, and this place definitely needs to work on improving it to attract more customers. Despite its clean environment and friendly staff, the food itself needs to be improved and made fresher. With the high foot traffic in the Soho area, this restaurant has the potential to draw in more hungry customers if they enhance the quality of their dishes.

Stopped here before playing a show at Bowery Electric. They serve alcohol on-site, so we kept it simple with 'Kirin Ichiban. ' Small to Medium sized venue (based upon your own opinion), mellow music playing, friendly staff. We had the Spicy Tuna roll, which is a basic roll, but still very good. Specialty rolls we had the Dragon Roll, Prince Roll, Festival Sakura Roll. All were very very good. This is place is too random for me to say I 'll be back, but I WOULD come back if in the area looking for sushi again. Very good experience, very good sushi. I 'd recommend stopping in if you 're in the area. It 's right off of E Houston on Mott St.

We went to this place for Omakase and we love it. The chef choice of the sushi was amazing and delicious and thank you for the chef for the entertainment. We really enjoyed here and will definitely coming again.
