Nami Nori - New York

It's good, but I personally prefer nigiri a bit more. They did a great job of keeping the seaweed crispy. However, the rice feels a bit detached from the fish.

The food here is amazing! The temakis are truly exceptional. I ordered a custom selection of five, featuring lobster, red crab, fried oyster, uni, and more—it was fantastic! The top neck clam miso soup is also outstanding; it's the best I've ever had!

Came in on a saturday weekend with 4 other people had a private table to ourselves in the back! the service was great and exceptionally fast considering how many handrolls were being made. i got the classic set but replaced spicy tuna with tuna poke… however, most of my rolls i did not quite like. the flavors were not my cup of tea, lots of wasabi spice mixed in the sauces used in the temaki hand rolls : . but everyone else enjoyed what they ordered! reaaaally expensive tho, not sure if i’ll come back here again personally. otherwise, this is a great spot!

Food was great, one member of our party had a bit of trouble with removing the plastic wrapper on their rolls but they got the hang of it by the third one.Drinks were good but not sure that they were quite worth it, honestly tasted like juice. Tasty but seemed low in alcohol.We had the signature and classic sets, everything was great and although it was a tiny bit disappointing that one of the rolls in the signature set had no fish (black sesame cucumber roll? , it still tasted very nice.

The service wasn't the fastest or most polished, but the owner who brought out our food was incredibly friendly. The temaki was unique and of high quality; I ordered the signature 5 and added toro, which was delicious. The presentation was beautiful and quite creative. However, I found the plastic wrap on the seaweed to be unnecessary and messy, requiring removal. The menu options are somewhat limited, so you might need to order a temaki combo of five and add extras to feel satisfied—five might not be enough. The interior is pleasant, but you can only sit outside before 5 PM, and the outdoor area had quite a few flies, plus the seating wasn’t very comfortable. Would I return? No.
