Nisi - New York

This restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best dining spots on the island. I ordered a meal, enjoyed it, and later came back for a drink. The staff is pleasant, helpful, friendly, and quick. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and intriguing. Plus, there are geese around, which is fantastic! Everything here is wonderful. I believe it's an ideal place for any occasion, but I particularly recommend their breakfast options, including the omelettes and bagels. Whether you’re on the island or elsewhere, this is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat.

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the Chicken Alfredo is outstanding. They also offer outdoor dining, which adds to the lovely atmosphere of this welcoming community spot. It's conveniently accessible by ferry to Roosevelt Island, making it a beautiful destination to explore. Thank you, Joy!

I visited this restaurant because the menu had a wide variety of options, and the prices seemed reasonable. The atmosphere was lovely, and I really appreciated the design of the space. However, I can't recommend this place. The server took an unusually long time to bring us the check. When I inquired about the non-cash total, the staff informed me that the credit card company charges a 4% fee, which the restaurant refuses to absorb, instead passing that cost on to the customer. While I know some establishments do this, the way they handled it left a bad impression. It feels like the restaurant is trying to profit off of these fees instead of providing good service. Overall, I found the slow service coupled with the added charges to be disappointing. That's just my experience.

One of the best restaurants on Roosevelt Island. You have a very large menu, and the service is always excellent there. The servers are efficient and friendly. Nisi is very central to most shops on the island, and I had many excellent meals there. Very recommended!

Possibly one of the largest menus I've encountered. Wasn't overwhelming but definitely had too many good choices to choose from! The service was fast, knowledgable, and friendly. The drinks were unique, well priced, and more importantly were well balanced. For sure recommended! I can't wait to come back again and try a few of the other choices I missed that also sounded amazing!
