Initially, our waiter was attentive, but after receiving our food he seemed to disappear. We had to flag down someone to bring us our bill so we could leave. The atmosphere is trendy with firehouse and police badges displayed everywhere. They serve Coke products and have a great selection of seasonal beers. I also had a bottle of Michelob Ultra that was ice cold and delicious. The restaurant is conveniently located near the 9-11 memorial, and I even spotted badges from my hometown.
This genuine Irish pub is steeped in history and welcomes every customer, whether they be local or tourist, with a warm smile. It has stood through significant moments, including before and after the twin towers, proudly displaying the patches of firefighters like badges of honor. Indulge in a hearty Irish stew and fries or enjoy a cold Guinness beer and toast to good times!
Stopped here twice and enjoyed it both times. Lively atmosphere, good music, super friendly staff, fair prices. The food was good, huge portions, couldn't finish everything on the plate on neither visit. Really tasty Irish stew! The Shepherd's pie could use a bit more sauce though.
It was late and we just checked in to our hotel and looking for a place to eat. Looked at the reviews online and felt like we?d give it a shot the food looked good but i was more interested in the history of first responder badges. I was just hoping the food was good and figured it was a pub it should be. We weren?t sure if it was family friendly because we had a teen with us and wasn?t sure if it was more of a bar. They said they were family friendly. When we walked in it did feel more like a bar there were no families there but we went in anyways. The place was cute and it wasn?t rowdy. The Hockey game was playing and the badges were awesome. The waiter was an Irish guy and was really nice to my family. We asked if they had a scrapbook of 9/11 history because I read somewhere they did. He was excited to give it to us. We looked through it as we were waiting for our food which came out at a great time and the food was delicious. I will definitely stop by again if in the area!!
This Irish pub is amazing. The wings were cooked to perfection, and all of us loved our meals. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it is located near Ground Zero from the 9/11 attacks, adding to its historical significance.
