Osteria Nando - New York

I HIGHLY recommend Osteria Nando. I had a surprise 80th birthday party for my Aunt at this restaurant on November 26th. It was a luncheon for 16 people and could not have been more special or perfect. From the beginning, Justin, who I assume is the manager, was so personal and accommodating. He helped me put together platters for appetizers that are not typically on the menu, arrange sides for the table, and serve up a variety of desserts for the table. The service and wait staff were fantastic, even engaging in the most welcoming way with my 3-year-old nephew, who started bouncing off the walls after a bit. The timing and spacing of courses were perfect, and all of the food was delicious! We were given both the regular and brunch menus, so there was a large variety of entrees ordered, and everyone raved about what they had eaten. The desserts were especially sublime. The atmosphere is warm and charming, which made the affair seem very intimate. They even surprised my Aunt with a gift bottle of champagne. Again, Justin is the best at what he does, and I cannot thank him enough for helping us create a perfect celebration. If you haven't tried this restaurant, you should!

Welcoming staff, a bit noisy but manageable for talk. Food was a mix of tasty and okay. Boulibase was oddly bland, filled with fresh crustaceans but not nothing more than a basic broth. But would return as there's much to like.

Wonderful food, we sat outside with lovely music and a great atmosphere. The food is fresh and delicious. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Justin is wonderful and made sure we had a great experience dining there!!!

Great experience. Delicious food and drinks. I celebrated my birthday, and they gave us a few drinks and dessert at the house. Service was fast and efficient. The quantities were decent, and the food was delicious. We would go back to try other items on the menu.

Loved the lemon buratta raviolis and the Violet Last cocktail. The staff were very friendly and service was fast atmosphere was nice.
