Patsy's Pizzeria Harlem - New York

Came today for the second time. The pizza is crispy, thin, and not too filling, just the way my wife and I like it. The walls are filled with photos of celebrities, politicians and the who's who of different walks of life. Today I was surprised by theGovernor being there.

The pizza had a nice flavor but it was delivered to me cold, which is strange considering this location is only an 8 minute walk from my house. We had to reheat it in our own oven. The calamari was chewy and seemed like it was over cooked, as well.

Quite possibly the best NYC pizza there is bar none. Wonderful coal flavor and amazing crust and cheese. The sauce has a clean finish and the atmosphere is quite nice. HOWEVER, and this is BIG. There is no consistency. Sometimes the pizza is 9.5/10 andsometimes a solid 7. Would recommend sticking to dinner at the latter half of the week and weekends. Several times I?ve hadcrust not cooked all the way and toppings on one side of the pizza.

Been meaning to come here for a while and now I wished I came sooner! This is the definition of a perfect New York slice and you can?t get much better than this. It?s definitely work the trek from wherever you are! I?ll make a stop by anytime I?m in thearea again or any of the other locations.

I love this place when I travel into New York we normally stop here to get some good pizza in the early hours .. but this time we stopped in was during the week in the evening and we had to wait a pretty long time for the waiter to take our order . Myhusband was pretty upset because when he had enter the restaurant, he had told the waiter what he wanted and instead he saidI?ll come back to you . The waiter kept sitting people and then went to take an order of a family that had came after us . Wejust stopped in for pizza and some sodas to then keep driving out towards Maryland but instead we got stuck there for 2 hours .There was only one waiter . We waited for the sodas for some time then also the pizza . Plus the pizza came burnt. Thepeople that came after us were served first . My husband said the service sucked, the waiter was slow and the restaurant needsmore help ? especially In the evenings when the place gets full ? will try next time to only visit this place early hours ?because the pizza is really good but not this time ? we had burn pizza ?
