Great food and fantastic service from our waitress!

The food was excellent at this restaurant. We ordered the bangers and mash, short rib ravioli, and beet salad. They had a fantastic beer selection and the wait staff was very attentive. It was a wonderful evening, especially because they were playing Phil Collins music, which put us in a great mood before we went to his show.

The hostess was terrible! I made a 7:15pm reservation tonight at 6:30pm with the intention of grabbing drinks before eating. She told me I couldn’t just make a reservation 2 minutes before walking in and that we might not be able to eat dinner “that late.” so I explained that we would be getting drinks before eating, to which she said she would probably seat us late. Then 15 minutes later, she came to grab us because our table was ready. So maybe she was having a bad night, but she was terrible and I’ve never had to argue with a hostess before. But the food and service otherwise was superb.

This is our favorite spot for concerts near Madison Square Garden. The food and service are excellent. I highly recommend it.
