I like the chai here and really enjoyed the malai wiper tikka appetizer, as well as the punjabi goats. the brot, which is most important to me when it comes to Indian food, was unfortunately a bit overwhelming, but that could be a day for day. will definitely come back some time and give the brot another chance! I think what separates this place from the other curry hill spots is usually presentation and vibes. all have good eating, but pippali plates dinge in a very stylish wise and has stylish restaurant vibe. also the service is smooth and fast. it is not surprising that from all curry hill restaurants, this made the Michelin guide.
Good food, lunch special gives lots of variety for low price. Did great job helping out with my kids.
Delicious food super generous quality and I was surprised that it’s so inexpensive Love it
Delicious food! We tried the vegetable kalan (coconut based gravy), achari bhindi (spiced perfectly jackfruit biriyani, yellow dal and banarasi tikki. The dal was perfect for a comfort meal, and the kalan was rich and soothing. We couldn't taste the jackfruit in the vegetarian biriyani, but the dish was good nonetheless. Will definitely revisit the restaurant. We'd ordered in dinner and the food came packaged very neatly. No qualms there either.
Wao. One of my best experience of Indian food so far at NYC. Little costly but worth trying. You must try virjin mojito, kerala Kalan, kulcha naan. I just loved those.
