Great little hidden gem in Hell's Kitchen. Sat at the bar and had the most authentic Japanese street food!
It was a pre theater dinner. We were running a few minutes late, but they were super gracious when I called to alert them. The menu was perfect for us; dumplings, sushi, grilled veggies, meats and seafood. It was all super fresh. The atmosphere was very relaxed. It was nothing fancy but very homey and sweet. Would very much recommend for anytime.
Not only did we have a terrific meal here, but the service was excellent as well. Very laid back but attentive. Food was very good- we ordered two dishes at a time and were very happy with almost all of them. We thought their yakitori skewers were the weakest items we have. The squid salad was killer! Definitely recommended and we will be back!
Very good casual place, affordable, tasty and fun (cheap beer! . Also great considering awful location in Times Square area. Welcome escape.
