Silver Lining Lounge - New York

The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was outstanding. However, the music by Tom Young was incredibly disappointing and hard to listen to. It was so bad that we decided to leave. Overall, I was quite let down.

1) The first rule of hospitality is that water glasses should always be filled. 2) The entertainment can be hit or miss; the piano player was just average. 3) The cocktail servings were quite small, and there are plenty of other places in the city offering a similar experience. 4) The staff seemed inexperienced, as they were removing half-full drinks from tables. 5) The overall experience depends a lot on the crowd, so it’s important to ensure your guests are genuinely interested in the show. This isn't the venue's fault, but it's something to keep in mind for anyone planning to go. 6) There is only one small bathroom available.

The food was good, but the drinks were disappointing; they had very little flavor.

Great food, service and aesthetics. However, the band started late and it wasn’t what we expected based on what was advertised.

Amazing sophisticated ambiance. Loved the live band put's a great vintage touch!
