The Capital Grille - New York

I was blown away with the decor, the ambience and even the smell of this place Lol. From the detailed walls to the bronze eagle statues it was breathtaking. I had the sea red sea bass it was fresh, a thick cut part of the fish, was moist inside and the top and bottom of the fish had this thin, tasteful crust I will not forget. The staff were attentive, friendly and happy to serve you. The host who checked me came to me while he was sitting to ask if the service is good. I appreciated that. 15 minutes too late to reserve, but was still honored the table, for NYE it was not packed. The food was prepared in large part, the sides were razable all tasted excellent. Hostess was fast, efficient the restaurant is nice somewhat dark, but beautiful design. overall great experience.

Excellent. A perfect meal in a perfect environment with perfect service. Capital Grille has definitely earned a place on my Must-Go-To-Paces-In-New-York list.

This place is my clamp. The food is never disturbed. The best service and staff. (Shout to: Heidi David, John, Khalid) have every item on their menu and its always tasteful and delicious! A definitive attempt is her Lobster-Mac-n-cheese, her Au Gratin potatoes, her Bone-In Kona Crusted Dry Aged NY Strip with Shallot Butter, Dessert a must try is her cream brulee and her coconut creampie!

The level of service was excellent. Very polite and accommodating staff. Food was very tasty. Would recommend the clam chowder, crème brûlée cheesecake and Ribeye. The sides are excellent. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Not a fan of the bread, but I’m not a bread guy so that could just be me.
