The Lobster Club - New York

That was my 30th birthday dinner with my family. the service started attentive, but then it was difficult to find someone when we were ready to order. then the service was essentially perfect until our server left for the evening. the gentleman who replaced them asked if we wanted to do “the whole embarrassing birthday thing” (playful, not rude! and then completely forget to contain a candle in one of our desserts. I made a commentary that a manager heard, and he slylyly brought a little sorbet with a candle to make it. eating was mostly excellent. the server assistants were all very attentive and we never had to wait for drinks or water. I would come back, but I honestly do not recommend to come with such a big group. for this menu is a party of 4 optimal. the steak (ny strip was raised and the garlic and garnel dishes were two of our favourite dishes. the branzino was a favorite at the table, like the mushroom spring rolls. the thunfisch chili was my personal favorite, but better to share with only one person or have it all

Overall great experience. We sat in the back of the restaurant. The service was very attentive. And the food was very good. Only downside was a drunk table next to us. It was quite noisy. I didn’t expect it. Other than that we had a great time.

Service too slow. Something wasn’t right today. I was disappointed

Tables too close to each other in the main dining room and the food was a little… underwhelming. However, the music was fantastic, fish was very fresh and the waygu was delicious! I would visit again
