I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel and dined at The Round Table every day. I absolutely loved it.
I adore the history, atmosphere, and incredible food!
The food isn’t bad and the service is fine but the price is ridiculous. It goes way beyond regularly high hotel prices for food. There is nothing particularly special about the cuisine and even the presentation is lacking. I paid $19 for hummus with pita. $8 for a cup of (stale) coffee. See my picture of the $25 continental breakfast that consisted of a mini muffin, croissant, pastry and little container of fruit. For the same price you can go to an upscale restaurant in NYC and get better food and nicer presentation.
Chuck is an awesome waiter. He’s the reason we keep coming back.
