The waitress seemed frustrated (by the kitchen I assume), but the drinks and food took forever and the fries we got with the club sandwich (which took over an hour and a half to come) were cold and soggy. I asked for new fries, which she did bring eventually. The restaurant wasn’t that crowded, so it didn’t really feel like there was an excuse.
The Vine doesn’t live up to the atmosphere nor the prices. Drinks took longer than food to come out and are overpriced (like everywhere else), and the food portions were minuscule. I have specific beef with the crispy chicken bao buns, two for $16, that were the size of sliders and had 3 ingredients. They also came with ranch dressing
I love the food at this place and great service. The hostess gets you seated very quickly and right away there's someone there to help you with your order. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.
A little disappointed with our experience. We stayed at the Kimpton so decided to try The Vine. The waitress didn’t allow us to finish our charcuterie and literally pulled our plates away as the main course was arriving. My friend asked for a well done burger and when it arrived it was medium rare. She asked to switch it and again the waitress wasn’t very nice about it, even though it was their fault. I have asked for extra ice and it felt like they are doing me a favour by bringing. The food was alright but the service really ruined the experience.
The Vine was a cute spot with a patio for lighter bites/ dinner. The drinks were pretty good and the Mahi Mahi bao bun special was my personal favorite. Would definitely come again! Fun to lounge and chill, cool decor
