I have everything that bagel, cranion cream cheese, lox, tomaten, wobbles and capern. it was absolutely amazing. I got her fresh, pressed orange juice for a drink and it was also great. highly recommended.
Great selection of tofu vegan cream cheese. the garlic and crimson is my personal favorite. they also have a gluten-free bagel option that taste pretty good, but is an expensive charge. it was an additional $4 on the regular price of a bagel. the Tofu cream cheese also costs extra. spent $25 on three bagels!
At Tompkins Square Bagels, there are six different vegan tofu spreads available, and all of the bagel options (with the exception of one) are also vegan-friendly.
After a 90-minute walk, we were extremely hungry for a classic New York-style breakfast: a toasted bagel. All of the bagels at this restaurant are vegan, and they offer six different tofu-based cream cheese options. We tried a poppy seed bagel with spinach and artichoke cream cheese, and it was heavenly! We will definitely be returning to this place.
...as long as you're willing to wait. I mean, if you've been to New York, you should definitely try a bagel at least once. I'm not exaggerating, it was fantastic here. A large bagel, so there's no hole, is my favorite kind of bagel! They offer 6 different tofu spreads to choose from, along with various options for the bagel itself and numerous add-ons. I chose a toasted bagel with garlic and sun-dried tomato spread, tomato, lettuce, and avocado. It was delicious, and all for around $10. The only downside was the excruciatingly long wait, almost an hour.
