Wolf - New York

My experience at this restaurant was awful. I never got the Artisanal Baguette I ordered, and the Rigatoni looked like it had already been eaten, as if it were someone else's leftovers. When I contacted the restaurant to get the missing part of my order, they told me I needed to place a new order because they didn't handle deliveries. They also claimed there was no manager available and that I would need to contact DoorDash for a refund. I will never order from Wolf or use DoorDash again after this terrible experience.

The food at Wolf was outstanding. The grilled octopus was an inventive and flavorful take on pulpo gallego. Crunchy fried potatoes contrasted with tender grilled octopus. The blistered pepper relish brought a hint of heat, and the saffron aioli added a creamy base to blend the many flavors and textures together.The yeasted polenta fritters brought together fried polenta and the early fermentation notes from fresh bread a combination I had not experienced before. The honey gave robust, floral tones to the ricotta. This was delicious, but subtle. It was a dish best shared because you could lose the taste by repeated exposure.I was blown away by the bucatini. Salty anchovy with fresh mint was unexpectedly satisfying as you teased out the different flavors. Breadcrumbs added extra texture to the pasta . It was a dish you felt like you were exploring, rather than just eating.The ambiance was pleasant, but the star of the show was definitely the menu. Wolf is a great choice if you are looking for an exceptional dining experience in a casual atmosphere.

Food, service, vibe all were exactly what we needed. Food place for a girls lunch out, or a business lunch where one would need to hear oneself think and relax a bit. Not stuffy at all. We ordered two of the excellent pastas and shared a generously sized Wolf’s salad. All delicious.

Excellent food. Everything we ordered was great. Service is always friendly, just sometimes goes silent for longer than expected.

Our cocktails were great, and we loved the Little Gem Salad, Bucatini and Hanger steak. The food was absolutely delicious! Carmen was wonderful and so sweet and attentive. Loved the atmosphere here and the open kitchen concept. Can’t wait to dine here again.Wheelchair accessibility: They have and elevator and a lift for those who may need it.
