Yerba Buena - New York

They are closed until spring 2018. I made this reservation, showed up and saw the sign that made me know.

We came to Yerba Buena for a fun weekend brunch and it was not disappointed!! Big unlimited brunch drink deal $16 dollars for fun brunch cocktails). Delicious Latin inspired brunch food with a reasonable price. Beautiful service they definitely wanted us to have a good time and let the drinks and smiles come. There was a fun juvenile crowd and good Latin pop-hip-hop music playing, but there had no aggressive 'brunch club' vibe. They move locations, but I hope they keep this same menu and staff we said that Yerba Buena is our new classic brunch spot for when our group of friends is all in the city.

The appetizers at this restaurant were excellent, but we were disappointed with the main courses. My husband's short ribs were served on a bed of grape tomatoes that were difficult to cut. The shrimp in my chaufa was quite fishy and not fresh. However, the drinks were good.

I think we had a new waiter in the heading we had. He was very nice, but still a bit unknown with the menu, but the staff helped him to offer us great service and feel very comfortable. The food was delicious, drinks were full of taste with the right mix of liqueur. I'd definitely go back. Very recommended for a nice date night!

Brought my mom here for post thanksgiving brunch! Always a great time!
