We went for the Grandmakase menu that was great. It has risen somewhat in price (as well, I think a bit in a lot), but it is still a good offer for what it is. I'd say the seagull and urine was the Pièce de résistance.
Very good restaurant, the food is amazing, fresh, delicious!
A pleasant space, friendly and accommodating service. We stumbled upon Happy Hour, so began our meal with the special appetizers of the day. For those who are curious, they offer a tasting flight of 3 sakes, from dry to sweet, for an excellent price. The sushi and sashimi was the highlight for me; the freshest and most delicious fish, perfectly sized sushi pieces, and tasteful tiny garnishes. Even though we both ordered set menus, they were flexible and allowed us to choose an alternative roll (neither of us are fans of the krab in California rolls). We shared a generous serving of green tea ice cream for dessert, which came garnishes with sweet red bean. Literally the most delicious miso soup I've ever tasted; my Japanese partner informed me it was both typical and authentic. We will return!
Just sushi and sake with a smile. If you need fancy, keep moving. If you want traditionally good, stop on by!!
