Billys Bakery - New York City

The cupcakes are delicious!! I tried the red velvet and carrot cake and were amazing!

Cupcakes were delicious but the guy that rang me up had an attitude that he didn't have with the other people there for pickups. Don't have to be friendly but being unfriendly isn't ideal with customers.

I stopped in to purchase a last minute cake for a co-worker's birthday and was sold a frozen cake....unfortunately, I was never told it was frozen! Who in their right mind would sell you a frozen cake and not say anything? The poor guy couldn't even cut the thing! When I called to complain, I got some song and dance about how the store worker should have let me know. If I wanted a frozen cake, I would have gone to Carvel! Terrible custom service and attitude! I'll make sure to let everyone I know, not to frequent this joke of a bakery!

Service was great. I was in and out with my cake but I have to say the cake was DRYYYYY. For the price, I would imagine a bit more flavor and not be so over baked. Ekk there's plenty of other bakeries in NYC, go somewhere else

I recently ordered cupcakes from Billy’s for my sisters birthday. The cupcakes were extremely unaesthetic and overflowing with batter, see picture. I would have never ordered cupcakes as a gift having know they would have looked like this. I kindly contacted customer service to express my dismay and they were incredibly rude over email. They said “we sell food to eat” basically implying it was just an aesthetic issue. Completely inappropriate response to an issue that could’ve been smoothed other with a simple “sorry” it’s too bad as we’ve enjoyed Billy’s over the years but obviously will have to rethink our business moving forward.
