Fishwiches - New York City

I hope they bring this back. It was done as a short term pop up option inside International Wings Factory. As I stick to a Pescatarian diet being able to get a nice fish sandwich around the corner from me was a bonus. Their salmon and cod sandwiches were so good for lunch. Nice sized portions, cooked well, delicious, and the price could not be beat. Here's hoping it comes back. Not many options in this hood to get these sandwiches.

Ordered take out from here a couple times. They have really weird hours of operation so just be aware of that. Their fish sandwich is good as well as their fish and chips. The tater tots are to die for, but what tater tots aren't? If you're looking for an elevated fish sandwich, then look no further. Delivery was prompt as well.

Went to this place with a friend with high expectation after reading good reviews. Very disappointed, the whiting sandwich totally over cooked more like burnt. The sandwich could have been anything, no taste at all. And to top it off had a hard time finding this place in this day and age, the name on the store sign something totally different.

Not too impressive. Small place with about 4 or so tables. Wouldn't be a bad place to grab a quick bite. I got the Cajun flounder sandwich. Took a while to make. While the flavor of the fish itself was very tasty, the slice of flounder was very thin and the brioche bread was too stale and overpowering that you couldn't really taste the fish anymore, mostly eating bread and sauce. Maybe the other fish options have bigger portions but the flounder was a miss.

A bit hard to find because it's actually located in the international wing factory shop, but we just made it in time before they stopped serving their fish sandwiches (until 6pm). The food came out pretty fast too. Both the Cajun spiced cod and the lemon butter flounder sandwiches were good and plentiful. And I loved how cheesy their Mac and fish was. We also got a side of tater tots which were golden crisped to perfection. Must come back to try their other sandwiches and their wings.
