Go Go Curry Harlem - New York City

This restaurant is a must-visit for locals in the area. I discovered it during my break from city college and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the crispy tofu and it was delicious. The close-up pictures on the menu showed the texture perfectly. The cabbage was cooked just right, not overcooked or too salty. It felt like a healthy meal, and it was affordable at only $13. The location is convenient, right under the train station with minimal outside noise. The menu is diverse, so I'm excited to come back and try more dishes. There are no bathrooms on site, so be sure to wash your hands before arriving. The place is also very clean and well-maintained.

The katsu was crispy and crunchy, and the shrimp tempura was flaky and delicious. The sausage was perfectly cooked with a satisfying snap. The gyoza was great, especially when covered with the classic go go curry sauce. I only planned to have a snack here before heading to omakase, but ended up ordering multiple little snacks. I wish I could have just ordered a platter of rice, curry, katsu, etc and called it dinner. I really enjoyed the meal and can't stop dreaming about it on my way to omakase.

Delicious curry in my stomach. I ordered the vegetable curry with vegetable tempura. The tempura was crunchy and the curry packed with flavor. I would have liked more actual vegetables in the curry, like potatoes. The cabbage was a bit dry and could have used some sesame seasoning. The staff was helpful and friendly, making ordering easy. Many thanks to them.

I have to give it a 4 because their phone doesn't work for the majority of the time, the food is amazing but on orders from Uber Eats they don't give the option to ask for special requests for the order for example not wanting curry or cabbage with the order. If they do not pick up then they tell you that you should have done that, even though the option isn't even available

So delicious. Fish Katsu curry is amazing. Great customer service and a nice dining area. I love this Japanese chain Curry restaurant.
