La Pizza - New York City

This place is the best! I would highly recommend getting a reservation as it fills up quickly. I love getting the ravioli the quadrati (pistachio ravioli with lemon sauce) and butternut squash ravioli are my favorites. The wine is tasty too. They had garlic bread one time and it was the best I've ever had but haven't had it since 2017.

I came here years ago, but I went again. This is the best pasta place I have been to in NYC. I’m still trying new ones but this is the best one so far. I did their 2 courses for 19$, for 2 people, and we had 2 beverages. We paid $60 total. Not too bad for the quality of food. The best appetizer I had was the bruschetta with tomato. We also had the risotto ball, which was underwhelming to me. However the bruschetta was super refreshing and tasty. The pasta was amazing as well. Super flavorful and cooked perfectly.

Pizza Pasta is one of the standout restaurants in the fantastic Eataly complex. The pizza dough was expertly crafted and incredibly delicious, while the pasta and sauces were equally flavorful. The salad offered a refreshing complement to the meal. We enjoyed a bottle of Tuscan wine, which perfectly rounded off our dining experience. It's a place for simple yet excellent food that comes highly recommended.

Overall, it was a good experience. I visited during restaurant week and opted for a two-course meal for $25. While the menu options didn't completely impress me, I did enjoy the food. I started with the butternut squash soup, which was delicious, and had the rustic pizza that I really loved. For dessert, I chose the tiramisu, which I thought was quite good. Although it took a little while for someone to take our orders, the food arrived quickly. One thing I would suggest is to offer butter with the bread; it only came with some type of oil that I wasn't very fond of.

We sat at the bar and had a wonderful time observing the chefs as they prepared the food. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. The pasta was absolutely delicious!
