Lao Ma Spicy - New York City

I have ordered from this restaurant several times, and it consistently delivers delicious food!

This restaurant is not the authentic Laoma from Flushing, Queens. The flavor is very bland, with little spice in the dry pot—just some low-quality chili oil. It didn’t come with rice, which I only realized after my order was delivered. I am extremely disappointed and feel like I've wasted my money. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Please avoid this place at all costs!!!

We visit this place at least once a week because it's one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood. We really enjoy the spicy hot soup (they have a variety of options) as well as the classic dry pot dishes. Allan is an exceptional host!

Excellent and speedy service on Christmas Day. The Kung Pao chicken was delicious, and the dumplings were really great. There is plenty of space for walk-ins.

Our favorite lunch break around NYU! The dry hot pot is rich and tasty. Be careful with the spice level! It gets really spicy already with level 2. The price is ok for the quality of the food.
