The wings were just alright, but the mango sauce was disappointing. The fries were the highlight of the meal, although they didn't provide any ketchup. The biscuit was tough, almost like a chip, so I had to scoop out the dough instead. Lastly, the drink was extremely sweet; it definitely needed some water to balance it out.
I ordered a 10-piece serving of boneless wings, but instead received bone-in wings. Unfortunately, they were terrible. I also tried the macaroni and cheese, which was bland and unappetizing. The only thing I enjoyed was the freshly baked biscuit. Most of the meal ended up in the trash. I already feel nauseous from the wings I did eat. I expected 7-Eleven food to be subpar, but I didn't anticipate it would be this bad. I'm seriously considering inducing vomiting now.
These are some of the best wings I've ever had—so juicy and crispy!
Having a fresher hot food option at 7-Eleven sounds appealing, and who doesn't enjoy fried chicken? Unfortunately, this particular offering falls short in every aspect. The taste, texture, juiciness, temperature, and even the price leave much to be desired. As an added downside, it fills the otherwise charming 7-Eleven with the unpleasant scent of burnt cooking oil.
