Sam's Deli - New York City

This restaurant is fairly decent, but it seems to be experiencing a decline. Many items on the menu were crossed out, and the prices had changed at least twice. I ordered the banh mi sandwich for $8, which featured pork loaf. Unfortunately, it didn't have jalapeños or much sauce. Overall, it was decent. The woman at the counter was friendly. The prices appeared reasonable, but I'm uncertain about the portion sizes between a roll and a hero.

Wow! What a refreshing change for Chinatown. This cozy little spot offers delicious heroes, a variety of wraps, hibiscus drinks, a cold fridge for beverages, and straightforward lunch snacks. It's a great place to relax during lunch. The customer service is excellent, and the staff always strives to make their customers happy. They truly deserve a five-star rating!

So good, I stumbled across Sams, literally. I was headed to a traditional Asian restaurant in the area that was cash only and I was low on cash. I remember walking past Sams so I walked back and was so happy I did. I got the Turkey sub with salami, it was delicious. I also order chips and they had an UTZ brand chip mix with Cheetos and Doritos style chips, that mix was great, I wish I had bought more. Overall had a good experience there and the wait staff was so nice and quick.

This cozy little spot may be unassuming, but it offers fantastic comfort deli food without any frills. They've been around for years, so be sure to support them!
