Sweetgreen Columbia - New York City

Today, my son came to visit me and the first thing he asked was, "Mom, where can I get a good salad from?" Without hesitation, I immediately recommended Sweetgreens for their make-your-own salad option. He thoroughly enjoyed it and said he was adding the name to his DoorDash contacts. Definitely the best salad in the neighborhood!

I had high hopes for the Miso Glazed Salmon, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The salmon was extremely overcooked, requiring a knife to cut through it. The jasmine rice was undercooked to the point of being crunchy. I'm unsure if this was just one bad batch or the typical quality at Sweetgreen, but I will not be returning for another chance. I was disappointed and wished I could have received a refund.

When I dine in at this location, everything is great. Nothing has ever been messed up, and I enjoy the food. Unfortunately, this is a delivery app, and when I order delivery, theres almost always a problem. The first time I ordered delivery from here, I got the wrong dressing. No biggie, it still tasted good. The second time, I ordered a custom salad and an ingredient was missing. That annoyed me, because the ingredient was chickpeas, which has a lot of protein. Protein is what makes you feel full. So, I wound up spending $30 on something that didnt fill me up because the store made a mistake. The third time, everything was fine. No complaints. Now, Ive just ordered delivery from here for a fourth time, and SEVERAL ingredients were missing from my bowl. I requested extra blackened chicken. I did not get extra. There was no crispy rice in the crispy rice bowl, either. Nor was there cabbage. Nor was there the wild rice. Again, I spent $30 on what amounted to a few paltry mouthfuls of food. I like this location, generally. I like this companys food. But this is getting ridiculous. I dont think I can order from here in the future if Im going to have to pay $30 to receive $12 of food. Thats disgraceful.

This was the best salad I have ever had. I am hooked! I wish I had tried them sooner. The salad was incredibly fresh and delicious. They even included a detailed list of every item in the salad. I love their service and I love their food.

I ordered the lentil avocado salad and was very impressed with it. It was so delicious that I couldn't finish it all and saved the other half for breakfast!
