Umami Ramen - New York City

The miso ramen is amazing! The noodles are just right, and you can customize it to your liking. The beef is tender and absolutely delicious!

The ramen here is quite average. The broth lacks flavor, the chashu is unremarkable, and the noodles taste store-bought. Honestly, I could prepare a better ramen using a pre-packaged ramen kit.

The ramen are delicious and satisfying. A must try for good take out ramen in the FiDi. They even separate the soup and ramen so it doesn't get soggy when you bring it home to eat.

Second time trying this place, and it was good. Plus side is that their spicy is a good level, can still taste the yummy flavors of the ramen but enough tingle to require extra water breaks (and a few nose blows once you 're done . The only thing keeping this from being great was the chicken in my ramen was very, very dry. Seems odd as it 's sitting in broth, but alas, it was. Worth going back? Sure as they are a 1/2 block away. Proximity and an otherwise decent meal will afford them another chance down the line ;

Fast and delicious, how much more can I ask for for a weekday dinner. Easy to order online.
