Van Leeuwen Ice Cream 253 Columbus Ave

I tried the Fusilli al Ferretto e Burrata today and found them to be bland, even though I have ordered them many times before and always enjoyed them. I'm not sure what happened, but everyone else at my table agreed. Typically, this dish is a 10/10, but today it fell short.

The experience of picking up my food was disappointing. One of the hosts by the front door was unnecessarily rude and talked down to me. It really put a damper on the whole experience. I would recommend avoiding this place. Despite being polite, I still received a haughty and disrespectful attitude.

I was underwhelmed by the Fettuccine alla Bolognese at this restaurant. Despite being priced at $30, it lacked flavor and left me feeling disappointed.

The Carbonara is not particularly creamy and the sauce is quite grainy

This is a small location of an ice cream chain. Approximately half of their flavors are vegan. There are limited seating options at this branch. It's worth mentioning that the peanut butter brownie honeycomb does not contain any bee honey; it is vegan-friendly.
