India Bar Restaurant - New Zealand

This restaurant can be inconsistent. I have ordered from them using UberEats and the delivery is usually on time. The food is decent, but the quality can be inconsistent. Sometimes the food is really good, but other times it is iffy. Ordering directly from the restaurant can be hit or miss, with wait times sometimes exceeding 30 minutes past the estimated delivery time. However, ordering through UberEats is generally quick.

I ordered a late night takeaway at 9pm after a night of drinking. I chose the Lamb Jalfrize, a mixed chicken and meat dish, and a garlic naan. I have had a lot of Indian food over the years, but what was served to me was delicious. The dishes were not drowned in a rich, soupy sauce, and the naan was soft and perfectly doughy. I would give it a rating of 4.5/5 because I am tired of the same old Indian food, but good food should be recognized and rewarded. Unfortunately, I cannot give half ratings on Zomato.

I just had dinner at this restaurant and it was delicious! The service was amazing, thank you for a great night out. We ordered three curries and two appetizers. The chana masala was particularly good. Yum!

Had food delivered today for the first time and it was fantastic. Best indian food i've had in auckland hands down. The dishes had the right amount of cream and spices and also had a great tandoori flavour to it. Can't wait to order from them again!
