The Bay Hill - New Zealand

I arrived in Timaru today for a 3-day vacation. This restaurant was conveniently located near my motel, so I decided to have dinner here. The steak was decent, but nothing special. The salad that accompanied the steak was lacking. However, overall, everything else was satisfactory. I enjoyed my meal and the beer!

I stayed in Timaru for a few nights for work and decided to have dinner at this restaurant with some colleagues. The food was good value for New Zealand and the portions were generous. The desserts were particularly delicious. The staff were attentive and welcoming. I will definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.

On a chilly and rainy winter's day, we decided to stop in for some food and drinks and quickly thawed out. The heaters were on and the place was bustling, a promising sight. We ordered seafood chowder and vegetable soup, both served with garlic bread which was the only disappointing aspect. The soup was flavorful and the chowder was brimming with fresh seafood. The staff were welcoming and the restrooms were tidy and contemporary. We would definitely return for another visit.

Great place to dine. Over looking Caroline Bay. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Food and Beers. The Seafood Chowder was delicious. 10/10.

Delicious food and generous portions. I can’t fault them. From excellent service from the staff to the unforgettable food, a small town bar provided a high quality restaurant experience. We were delighted with our choice. Try the aged rib eye fillet or the scallops rolled on bacon and add their crunchy chips. Amazing!
