The Yardhouse - New Zealand

Enjoyable beer, a combo appetizer platter that serves three and not two (sausage, waffle fries, some so-so popcorn chicken , and a few other things), plus a surprisingly good Sunday roast. I would stick to the beer and the Sunday roast the next time. And honestly it 's a brewery first, so drink away!

Dropped in here before heading to the cricket. Plenty of beers and ciders to try. Got a few dishes to share and we all enjoyed them. Had a lovely vibe and lots of outdoor seating. I was very happy we found this place on Yelp as it was our first time in Hamilton. The Empire pizza was delicious(pulled pork). Staff were friendly and service was speedy.

Atmosphere is pure working brewery. The sample ales were an interesting mix of their ales, a stout and a cider. The food complimented the ales. The food order was confused but Good George were outstanding in rectifying the problem plus more.

It actually makes me sad that i am not closer to this place. Amazing staff, so many delicious ciders, great craft beer and awesome food. There needs to be more places like this in nz.

Food is OK. Beer OK. Cider a little better than OK. But beware if you are not local. Service is quite a bit less than OK. Literally got our food before our drinks. And then the waitress served everyone (including everyone that came AFTER us) first. Unbelievable. Also, we were the only non-whites there. So, maybe that was the problem? For a company that advertises to tourists they sure don't treat them well.
