Thunder Roadhouse Cafe - Newalla

I only have 3 stars on the atmosphere, because of the smoke. The food and service were so good I quickly forgot about the cigarette smell.

Thunder Road House Well, on my first and second visit, I got great service from the bartender, and her name was Joyce. The second visit was Laurie she recommended great food items to eat, but her bartending was phenomenal. The way she recommended different drinks to go with my cigar. Here are my key points on Thunder Roadhouse Cafe. Great food: Reviews mention delicious food, especially the onion rings, burgers, and Mexican fare. Relaxed atmosphere: The place is described as casual and biker-friendly. Off-track betting: If you're a racing fan, you can enjoy watching and betting on races here. They claim to be open until 10pm but with multiple customers there the bartender asks everyone to close out tabs and closes up early at 8:30p saying it's to slow to stay open.

It's fine I guess if you're there for betting and the catfish. Beyond that YMMV.

Why would you go to a fancy steak house when the Roadhouse is so great and prices are sweet. I ordered chopped sirloin 12oz onions and wrapped w/ bacon- you know if it has bacon it’ll be good. Did I mention it comes w/ green beans (w/ bacon) and a salad. Robin decided on the two 5oz pork chops, potatoes and salad ?.Oh forgot one more item the Roadhouse CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE, it’ll melt in your mouth.Each meal was only $13.99 apiece, honestly it would be cheaper to eat at Roadhouse and sometimes better instead of purchasing groceries.The pie set us back $4.99.God BlessRob and Robin?
