Atmosphere at this restaurant is good. Service was extremely slow on a Wednesday night. My friend ordered grilled snapper and fully 35 minutes later we were told it was not available. We asked the waiter if he could substitute halibut, and he said yes, and that it would be prepared the same way like the snapper. After we ate our entree, we waited another 25 minutes before we were served our entree. Of note there was only one other table with 3 persons in the dining room being served. When our bill came, we noticed they had charged extra for the halibut. When we questioned it, the waiter stated “of course the halibut cost more than the snapper.” We asked him to ask the manager to deduct the extra charge. He went away for about 7 minutes then returned and said the manager said he wouldn’t change the price. We also noted that he automatically added 18% tip to the bill, without checking with us. We ended up paying the charge and the 18% tip. We will not dine here again unless the service improves.
