Cafe Amore - Newark and Sherwood

Booked an afternoon tea for a special occasion, exceptional value, plenty of choice, marvellous home made scotch egg and sausage roll. Lovely friendly staff very clean premises, quick service. Highly recommended came away full to the brim.

Appalling customer service. I used to teach hospitality and no idea how people like this run a business. No smiles or friendliness. Asked if there was anywhere to hang my wet coat due to the rain, just got a no. I was out for birthday lunch and I explained this, again no response, so smile. The one thing I wanted to order they didn't have the brie in stock. We decided that with such poor customer service we would rather spend out money elsewhere.

Lovely little place to go for coffee and cake. Great service, really good coffee and cakes, nice atmosphere and beautiful, historic, beamed interior. Will pop by again!

Polite and friendly staff, clean place.we both had breakfast like last time .both times meal was very nice.if you go back to a place it says it all, thankyou.

Bacon and sausages and eggs top quality. Best full English we've ever had, and very good value for money with a pot of tea and coffee included. We will be back.
