Mcdonald's - Newark and Sherwood

This restaurant meets the usual expectations but offers a few added perks. There is ample parking space and a fuel station with a mini shop on-site. Additionally, nearby, there is another fuel station with a mini shop, a fish and chip shop, and a Costa Coffee with a drive-thru. McDonald's features a two-lane ordering system and dedicated parking bays for larger orders. Inside, there are six touchscreens along with a counter for order pickup, two family benches equipped with built-in tablets for kids, and a reasonable amount of seating both inside and outside, although the space isn’t large. The restrooms are standard. Our visits are consistently pleasant, but the cleaning and waste stations (two in total) could be larger and more functional.

My burger was visually impressive, like a work of art! The service was lightning-fast, and the staff were super friendly.

I only ordered porridge and coffee to the table. It took over 20 minutes for the food to arrive, and when it did, the porridge was cold. I then had to wait another 15 minutes for a replacement.

Additionally, I requested for the onions to be removed from the double Big Mac, but they were still there. The packaging even stated that the onions and other items had been removed! To make matters worse, there were no napkins provided, and the staff just stood around while I waited to pay. Three workers walked past the till, and one of them kept looking back and laughing. I have no idea why. I also forgot to request no salt on my baby's fries (well before they started being prepared), and I was met with disapproving tuts. Plus, the food was cold. Overall, a terrible experience!

This is a shockingly bad McDonald there is no consistency you get a meal one day and it's ok the next day the fries taste off and the mcflurrys are half empty, if I wanted a small one id have paid for a small one. There seems to be no customer barrier at all there is a very distinct not my problem feel too the place. The mcflurrys we had could have been eaten by dairy intolerant people because there wasn't any ice-cream in it, just a bit in the bottom and that's it, this place really needs to change. We got apple pies the other day that were 7 hours past the dispose of time. 7 HOURS!
