Charleys Philly Steaks - Newark

If I could post a picture ... you?d understand. I ordered the teriyaki chicken sandwich and it has the smallest amount of chicken I?ve ever seen on a sandwich . I?ve had this before and it was WAY better. I will not be order from here again . And I?ll make sure people know not to get ripped of for paying $6 for a sandwich that McDonald?s could put more meat on ... terrible

Service was quick and everyone was friendly. Prices are decent and there are quite a few options. For a combo, which included a regular fry and drink was 11 bucks. First time I ever tried this place out, I went with the chicken steak with provolone cheese, grilled onions and peppers. It was ok, the onions and peppers gave it a great taste. The bread was fresh and toasted just right. For being located in a food court, it was better than I had expected; however, it wasn't a mouth watering chicken steak.

I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight and I thoroughly enjoyed the cheesesteak. I had ordered a paprika cheesesteak, but they forgot the paprika. However, I won't complain because it was still really delicious.

I will never eat at this restaurant again. I ordered a simple cheesesteak with just ketchup and cheese, but they forgot the ketchup. The way they handled the food was unprofessional; the chef tossed the meat to the woman preparing it. When I finally sat down to eat, I was so disappointed. The meat was piled awkwardly on one side of the bun, and the bun itself was cold. It was a really frustrating experience. I wish I could share a picture of my meal!

The prices are reasonable, and there's a good variety to choose from. You can get a combo for $11, which includes a sandwich and a drink. It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I tried the chicken cheesesteak. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. Overall, it was quite tasty for a casual eatery, although it wasn't the best I've ever had. The staff here are very friendly, which added to the positive experience.
