Lasagna. Said to have meat and sausage. Who in earth uses link sausage slices in lasagna….should be sausage chunk or crumbles. Was warm at best. Ask to substitute the lemonade splash in a drink …that means add something else…at all costs. Instead, the give the drink half full and no substitute. We would’ve paid for the substitute… Shrimp and scallops in a pasta dish were both well over cooked and very rubbery.
Sindhu is a great waitress. She knows the menu well. The Italian Paloma was not that good. Everything else was amazing.
The restaurant is undergoing some renovations at this time. Bar is not open and the side rooms have little or no windows. Martini glasses not available and they do not offer Happy Hour while undergoing renovations. : There were 4 of us who dined and all food was very good. I love the 1/2 portion options on 3 dishes; wish there were more! Our server, Kara, was AWESOME! Very attentive, helpful and also witty! We wanted her to join us for conversation! We will be back to see the new bar and dining room when renovations are completed.
My wife and I visited La Casa Pasta from Bel Air, MD for our anniversary. Your photo of Tagliolini Clams with white sauce attracted my wife. This is her favorite dish when prepared as you make it. Unfortunately, the server did not hear her say white and delivered red sauce. This was rectified in a very rapid manner and she was given her correct order. Very excellent turnaround on the mistake! I had the Mostaccioli Pasesano and it was excellent. A 45-minute drive was nothing for this jewel of a famiglia Italian spot.
