We decided to try out the restaurant and decided on the blackened salmon wrap with truffle fries. The truffle fries I'm going to admit is one of the best ones I've had. The wrap on the other hand first it smelled very fishy (yes yes I know it's seafood, but no) because of the type of establishment we said to ourselves these people don't know how to season they're food. Few hours later i started feeling bloated, both my best friend and I got sick throwing up with upset stomachs for 48 hrs. I'm sorry but NEVER will I go to this restaurant and I don't recommend it.
Don't eat here. I know it's convenient if you're staying at the Hilton. But nope! Do yourself a favor and save yourself the disappointment. Had a Moscow mule that had no ginger beer in it. Sent it back and the bartender makes a double of whatever he made the last time. The food is gross and has no seasoning. The fries were the only thing that was worth our visit. Crab Quesadillas- if you were home high and needed a quick random meal using what you had in your pantry, while out of your mind you would make this dish: a tortilla with canned crab, canned salsa, sour cream and cheddar cheese. WTF? Turkey burger? NO. Portuguese Chicken sandwich? NO. Go to Subway for food down the hall for real. Checked my bank account and I was charged $98.33 when my cousin and I split the bill. She paid cash for her half and they even messed up what she was to get back in change. Food was gross and y'all can't count!?
So we went to get breakfast at this place. We sat down one of the waiters gave ups the breakfast menus and he disappeared for 20 mins. (Keep in mind breakfast ended at 1130am. But we sat down at 1120. When he came back he told us breakfast ended at 1130 and didn't want to take our order. The service was shitty. Haven't gotten the food yet because it literally takes 1 hour to get food. (Writing this review as we are waiting Haven gotten a refill on our drinks within the hour. Over all this place should not be in a Hilton Hotel.
Stopped by this hotel bar in the Gateway Center on my way to the LMFAO concert tonight at the Prudential Center since it's really the only place to grab a drink between the PATH train and the Pru. Coors Lites were $6 a pint and very undeserving of that price since there are bars in the area that charge a lot less. This is a tourist trap for people staying in the hotel or have no clue what else is in the neighborhood (me being the latter). We ordered onion rings, chicken fingers, and wings. The onion rings and chicken fingers were ok, but the wings were the sort that were just soaked in gross hot sauce and very unlike a crispy and flavorful wing. The service was ok and the beer was cold, but I really can't give it more than 2 stars.
Worst service ever. Someone on plain clothes with a name tag walked over to us and asked if we had any questions. I was taken back a little because she sis t greet us or give her name. Giving her a perplexed look I gave my order after my guy did. It 's took about a half an hour for a burger and crab cakes (which was soggy BTW). We asked for mayo, that took another 10 minutes. No one came to check on us. We had to call out for someone just to get napkins. The woman who took our order disappeared, so it took a while to get our check. AFTER we paid, we left out of another entrance which displayed a happy hour sign, which ended at 6:30pm. We arrived at 6 and was not offered any happy hour menu/items. They all need training, if that woman s their leadership.
