Saladworks - Newark

Every time we place an order, there's always something wrong. We've received the wrong food, missing items, and food meant for someone else. We've reached out to the delivery service multiple times, but only got vague responses. Sometimes the restaurant gets the order right, but other times they don’t. Today, they forgot half of our order again. When I called to ask about the missing items, I was told to contact the delivery service for a refund, which felt rude. After waiting so long to eat, it was disappointing. In the end, the delivery service did send out the forgotten items, but unfortunately, the food was still wrong and included the wrong drink as well. It's frustrating that they can't seem to get anything right, especially since the order tags are always correct. It's likely that we won't be ordering from here again.

My husband and I stopped by earlier tonight for some salad and soup. When we arrived, we were greeted by two attendants. One was very friendly and made an excellent salad, while the other was less pleasant. When my husband asked about the soup sizes, she rudely pointed to the counter and said the sizes were right in front of him. He didn't see the cups because they were white against a white counter. The salad maker was polite, asking if the toppings were okay and if she could assist us with anything else. However, when we reached the checkout, the server assisting my husband was also unfriendly. She seemed impatient as I navigated their credit card machine. Overall, it wasn't the best experience, and to top it off, the soup was watery and not of good quality.

We relocated to Florida where Saladworks didn't have any locations, and for four years, I've been craving a Saladworks salad. Now that we're back, we decided to visit and place an order in person. I found that ordering in-store was significantly quicker than placing an online order for pickup—there was about a 30-minute difference for some reason. I'm really pleased to see that the salads are just as fresh and delicious as I remembered!

The salad was far better than anything I could prepare, even with the same ingredients. There's definitely an art to it. And the rolls? Absolutely wonderful!

I really enjoy the salads at this place. I usually order the Caesar Salad, and the ingredients have consistently been fresh. The staff was also very friendly during my last visit.
