If I accidentally spilled my bubble milk black tea on the ground and had no money in my bank account, I would definitely use a straw to drink it off the floor.

My dad chose a mango, strawberry, and banana smoothie, which was fantastic. You could really taste each fruit, and it was blended perfectly—definitely recommend it if you’re a smoothie lover! The tapioca pearls were cooked well, almost reaching overcooked but just shy of being too much. This shop uses smaller pearls than most boba places. I appreciate that local boba shops keep the pearls warm in syrup until they’re added to your drink. If they could just dial back the sweetness when adding the pearls, they would already add enough sweetness on their own. Overall, I'd rate this shop a 9 out of 10. The selection was good, service was excellent, and most of our teas were delicious. They don’t get a full 10 because the prices were a bit higher than I prefer for a small bubble tea, which makes me hesitant to order a larger size. I can’t imagine ordering the brown sugar tea again, especially if it was too sweet for me to finish. Vegetarian options include smoothies and fruit teas.

The boba was amazing—definitely one of my favorite places to get it! <3

I ordered a strawberry drink that cost $8.75, but what I received was an artificial strawberry-flavored drink topped with some imitation cream. What a low-quality drink shop this is! I also checked the Jian Bing Guozi they offer; my Chinese friend mentioned that it typically costs about 6-7 RMB in China, yet they are selling it here for around 14 times that price?

Tbaar was a wonderful unexpected discovery for a workday cafe visit. They were one of the few places open after the holiday. The boba tea was excellent, and I appreciated that they could serve it hot since it was a chilly day. I also tried the egg and cheese crepe, which was a delicious choice. Overall, everything was very well made and tasty!
