The food truly captures the authentic taste of an Indian roadside dhaba. We ordered a non-vegetarian meal with goat curry, which was good but could use some improvement. The saag (greens) was fantastic, and the dal was enjoyable as well. Some members of my group found the dal to be quite spicy (though the picture doesn't convey that level of heat), while I thought it was just fine. It’s all subjective, as they really did find it too hot for their taste.
I give this Indian restaurant 4 stars. The lamb and chicken curry were delicious. The portions are small, but there is plenty of space for truck parking. I didn’t check out the restrooms. Overall, it’s a good spot for a meal, roughly a 3.5 out of 5.
This is an absolutely authentic desi dhaba experience. If you're a fan of roti, this place will evoke nostalgic memories of home-cooked meals. I particularly loved their Aloo Parathas and Lunch Thali. What a delight it was to discover a Punjabi dhaba in the desert along the autobahn! It's a must-try! The big, hospitable Sardarji tends to greet you with warmth and wants to ensure you leave satisfied. We also took a few dishes to-go.
