Zimskillet - Newborn

My family and I picked up a bbq pork to make sandwiches at home. We were all satisfied with the quality of the meat and it exceeded any expectation for us. We especially enjoyed the smoke taste. Not everyone can smoke good pigs, but these people here know how to do it well. Your pork is good enough, it does not have to be sown, which says something about the quality in its taste profile. We'll be back next time.

The small restaurant was both busy times we visited this week. For breakfast we ordered a sausage and egg butter milk biscuit, a breakfast bowl with smoked ham and a simple butter milk biscuit. Delicious! Today for dinner we ordered a plate of ribs, sauces, beans and potato salad. The ribs were excellent and I didn't even eat them with sauce. The baked beans had smoked ham and were strongly seasoned. I loved her, but I can see how others look sharp. The potato salad was delicious and delicious! The owners were on site and were very friendly. No wonder this place came out a line. *My image of the ribs does not do justice. I was too hungry and slew the food before I thought to make a picture.

On the last Saturday everything was tried on the cinnamon. Great food. I loved the pulled pig, the chicken salad is unique, but my favorite was the Brunswick stew. Give yourself some delicious food!

The best BBQ and beans I ever had!!! The chicken, pork, beef was excellent. I'll drive the 70 miles a way to get this BBQ back.

Listen Folks, I've been from GA to TX and have eaten some of the country's best BBQ, from Fox Bro. In GA ,Big Bob's in AL to Black's in Tx. But today my wife and I went to this little place about 8 miles away from home, Zim Skillet in Newborn, and to my dismay I put about the best BBQ pulled pork (and all the sides) in my mouth that I have ever had!!! I was truly shocked and my taste buds and stomach was more than happy!!! If you want to have some amazing BBQ and a fabulous smoked salmon then you need to try Zim Skillet!!! Newton County should go there and show these folks some love, like they will show them with the food that they serve.. Zim Skillet, my wife and I will be back next weekend to try the next item in the menu, and I cannot wait!!! Chad C
