Ny Hometown Deli - Newburgh

I absolutely love the variety that this Deli offers! My whole family (of 5) always finds something they love to eat here. Everyone has always been happy with their meals. The staff is extremely friendly and the restaurant is very clean. My only recommendation is to call ahead with your order. Every dish is made to order and it can take quite a while to receive your food. But it's definitely worth the wait!

I typically enjoy dining at this restaurant, but my recent DoorDash order was disappointing. I did not receive my drink and the sandwich I received had the wrong meat in it. Although they offered a credit for a free drink, I was still disappointed and ended up skipping lunch.

I?ve ordered from this deli multiple times. Food is always great the owner and staff are very friendly with the exception of one employee. I think he is the owners son and is always very rude and when he is working orders are never correct. Today I calledin an order and ordered 2 steak and cheese sandwiches and chicken tenders with fries. When I got there to pick up he went togive me bacon and cheese on a roll. I explained to him this is not what I ordered and he argued back and forth with me tellingme I was wrong so I left without any food. This employee should NOT be dealing with customers at all. He also snatches money outof your hand aggressively when paying cash. I most likely won?t return after this experience and it?s a shame because they dohave good food.

I visit this restaurant regularly and I am always impressed by the friendly service, delicious food, and reasonable prices.

Our office orders from this place often because it is nearby. However, recently, when I went to pick up our orders, I discovered that they tried to charge me extra. For example, I ordered a turkey BLT for $9 and it did not come with turkey. They said they would fix it next time. A coworker ordered a beautiful salad for less than $7 and I was jealous. In a rush, I ordered two bagels with nothing on them (no cream cheese, just plain bagels for $2.49 each plus tax). I only received one bagel and was told I paid for two. The menu states that a bagel with cream cheese is $2, so why am I paying almost $6 for two plain bagels in plastic wrap? Never again! They are thieves. Be careful!
