Ranch Hand Bbq - Newbury Park

The staff at this restaurant were fantastic, but the rude cook must be replaced. When we ordered brisket, my husband asked for it to be cooked more thoroughly. However, the cook insisted that it was supposed to be pink and complained throughout the process. Even the waiter apologized for the cook's behavior. Word of mouth is important in the restaurant industry, and unfortunately, the experience with the cook left a bad impression. In the end, it's the employees that make or break a dining experience.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, especially the tri-tip! The service is also excellent. If you're looking for top-notch BBQ for a quick lunch, this is the place to go. They also offer take-out and catering options for your friends. Overall rating for the food is 5/5.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant while on a road trip. Everything was delicious!!! The kids enjoyed the cheese pizza and my husband and I shared a 3 meat combo (brisket, pulled pork, half chicken). I regret not getting my own because it was so good! Food: 5/5

We went to Ranch Hand BBQ on Fathers Day and they were slammed!! All the employees were working so hard, and still smiling. Every time I go here, they are very accommodating, helpful and fun. Not to mention, the Tri tip sandwich is the best in town. I was happy to see them being so busy on Fathers Day and didn't mind waiting the 20 mins for my food to be ready. The young men at the register are always so sweet and helpful and the blonde lady bagging up orders knows how to make sure that each patron feels heard and taken care of. Thank you Ranch Hand for employing the type of employees you do. It makes all the difference! Highly recommended

I go here often because it is close. But I don't care for the cole slaw and last time I went in I got beef ribs instead of baby back-and the were stone cold even though it was only a 5 minute drive home. I typically prefer this over the other BBQ chains that are local but m not always pleased w the results. Most of the time but not every time. Still I think I'll try because it's nearby.
