City Tavern - Newcastle upon Tyne

This pub is brilliant for coeliac and veggie coeliacs. Really safe lovely food. Sunday lunch, proper chips, burgers etc etc. I’ve eaten here loads of times. Gluten free lager too!!!

Came here for a RTPI Young Planners Quiz on Thursday 25th January. I'd like to say a big thank you to all the team, the chefs for the food but especially Elliot and Amy who looked after us so well.

Great atmosphere and lovely food. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Even though the pub was full we were served quickly. Fish pie is so tasty and full of lots of prawns and different fish. Good portion size. Sticky toffee pudding was fabulous and came with strawberries, blueberries and ice cream.

Had my parents visit Newcastle so went here for food. The food was excellent, service even better. We had booked a table for dinner, came early and was already prepared. Had table service for food and drinks for the entire night. The staff were lovely, and felt very welcoming.

Great for a quiet few with the family before the match, got to say hi to a few pooches and the dirty fries are stellar!!
