Just grabbed a bacon, sausage and cheese sandwich, on the way back to Darlo; what a fine experience! This is real comfort food on a chilly day. I could not recommend more highly!

I only wish I had been hungry enough to try the grilled cheese sandwich. Instead, I enjoyed a free donut with my sharp cup of tea, which cost £1.40. My server was very chatty and knowledgeable about everything in Newcastle. He works long hours at this kiosk and treats every customer like royalty. They really ought to pay him more!

Oh my goodness! I had the vegan cheese melt and it was incredible! I specifically traveled to the train station to try it, and it was absolutely worth it. The bread is beautifully crisp, while the cheese has a lovely chewy texture. I would recommend trying the chili chutney; it doesn't pack a lot of heat, but it adds a delightful touch of sweetness.
