Hawthorns Crowne Plaza Newcastle

This was our third visit to the Crowne Plaza in the afternoon, and each time the service was awful. Could it be due to a lack of staff or poorly trained employees? The selection of food on this occasion was very poor and lacked quality. There was no atmosphere, only freezing cold air conditioning. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

We had lunch at this restaurant. The food I ordered was good, although I found myself limited in choices due to the abundance of cheese options. That may be fine for those who enjoy cheese. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly.

Lovely meal but the seat we were given was a little too close for comfort to other diners you could clearly hear each other’s conversations and really felt on top of each other). Service was fantastic though so overall I would go back.

It’s the first time we have eaten at this restaurant and we had Sunday lunch. We opted for the chicken which was very moist, really tasty and accompanied by a very impressive Yorkshire pudding. Service was very good, the atmosphere was really good and the wine choice impressive. Would definitely recommend
