The restaurant unexpectedly closed without notice on OpenTable. We would give it zero stars if possible, as we received no service.

Dear Hei Hei, I will definitely come back. However, when I arrived this time, I was surprised to find a closed sign on the door due to a change in management. Looking back, I realized I had not received a confirmation of my booking. But how could I have booked when the restaurant was closed?

We arrived at the restaurant only to find it closed, which was quite frustrating considering I had confirmed our reservation the day prior.

It would have been easier to check this restaurant if it had been open. It urges the question of what use you will continue to book when it has been made clear to you that the location concerned has been closed for a few days.

This booking might have been fine were it not for the fact that the restaurant was closed for renovation under new management. Quite how and why it was still accepting bookings when it was shut is a mystery, but obviously it caused significant disruption to our plans. In the past this has been an excellent restaurant, so I hope this is a blip.
